Owned and operated by Tiffany Thibodeau. Tiffany is one of the kindest hearted people you will ever come across. She is always trying to give back. This aspect is what drove me towards her candles, it doesn’t hurt that her candles are just beautiful. When asked why she started Scarlet Raine her response was “I started soap two years ago. It was so addicting, I had so much soap it was coming out of my ears. I was making 2-3 6 lb loaves a day. My neighbors were constantly getting soap from me. One of my neighbors kept asking me to make candles. She mentioned it about 3 times in a 6 month period. So finally I just said what the heck! I made some basic candles, they tunneled and I didn’t realize what that was at the time. I wasn’t too interested in candles. I then discovered Sweet Love Candles on YouTube while I was looking for a soap tutorial. I thought her whipped candles were so cool! I taught myself how to make them, but I couldn’t find any information online about how to make them. The process took about 6 months to perfect. So basically it started as a hobby, and then I thought maybe I’ll sell soap and candles. I never had many orders, at best on a good week, 5-10 orders. Then I added jewelry, and it got people to try my wax.”

When I first discovered Scarlet Raine, the vendor was overwhelmed with orders and actually had the website closed. Once the vendor got caught up on orders, the website opened. It has remained open since. Some items are not available on the website right now, such as bath products. Candles and wax melt with and without jewelry are available on the website. Essentially you can get anything you want custom made from the website.

• Wax Look:
• Considering this wax was hot to the touch when I opened the box, I am surprised it wasn’t soup. The lips held their shape fairly well, with only slight smearing of the wax on the bag.
•  Absolutely love the look of the lips. They were customized options down to scent combinations, color, and glitter. So if I didn’t like how they looked, it would honestly be completely my fault. I tried to coordinate the colors with the scents.
• I also happen to think the vendor’s logo is very pretty, so I love the look of scent shots. All scent shots were hot pink, despite the scent. I don’t mind that at all honestly. I am sure she would have done whatever color I wanted had I requested a particular color. I am not picky with scent shots because the purpose is to try a scent.
• The lip balm is honestly the biggest lip balm I have ever seen. I have trouble using the small lip balms before I lose them. Fortunately, this one may be too large to lose. Challenge accepted!

• Overall Impression
• Let me tell you something about the strength of these smells… My fiancé can’t smell that well. Most of the time he can’t smell what I have melting from a couple feet away.  He said he could smell this vendor’s wax easily in the same room and after returning to the room after leaving the scents hit him like a brick wall!
• The wait time for this vendor is somewhat lengthy. I felt as if it took forever to get my products, but honestly it was worth the wait. 
• The vendor has a great heart. She always tries to keep her customers informed and aware of everything going on.

-         Not as big of a fan of the strawberry passion scent. I have been looking for a strawberry I may enjoy, and this will not be it.
