Sunflowers Scented Surprises is owned and operated by Laura Fricke. She started the business as a hobby in 2012. This vendor is a busy bee. She is a single mother of three children, a full time college student, and works a part time job. The vendor uses her wax creations as a personal aromatherapy from the chaos of everyday life. The vendor feels as if every vendor has their own special qualities they bring to the table, and hopes her attention to specific details helps her to become the best she can be. She has grown through the support of some other great vendors, and continues to grow. She hopes her products make you happy and literally melt away your stress. As a newer vendor, she appreciates each and every customer who takes a chance and tries her products. Personally, as a survivor of domestic violence, I can’t tell you how much it means to me that this vendor gives back to help survivors of this community.

The wax and the adorable box that it came in!

• Wax Look: The wax arrived on a hot day and was slightly smudged. It wasn’t liquefied so I wasn’t too concerned. It was still adorable and may be difficult to melt that cute little Gameboy!
  
  

• Cold Smell:
• Jiggly Puffin It

-         Smells like a lemony scent mixed with another note I can't pinpoint. Overall, it is fairly pleasant.

• The Sevii Islands

-         I can only describe this scent as tropical fruits meet floral.

• Team Rocket Goes SuperNova

-         Smells like a perfume I could never see myself wearing.

• Natasha's Electrode

-         A very light fruity scent. The watermelon that is the basis for this scent is very subtle.  The colds scent would make a wonderful soap.

• The Cats Meouth

-         This perfume scent is actually very pleasant.

• Choco Chicarita

-         A very distinct chocolate scent with very subtle banana notes.

• Ode To Charazard

-         It smells like a firefighter's turnout gear fresh from a fire. My fiance stole this scent from me.

• Pikachu Electric Apple

-         Subtle apple scent that is overwhelmed by floral notes. I don't hate this scent, but not sure I like it either.

Wax Melting Review: 

• Detailed Description of Each Smell

- At first I didn't like how this scent was coming across.  This scent transfered like as a lemon like scent, but much sweeter. The longer I had the scent melting, the more I enjoyed it.

- A very pleasant watermelon scent. I am not a huge fan of watermelon scents because theyare generally artificial, but this one was really nice.

- A very light pleasant perfume scent.

- I literally melted this just long enough to write a review(essentially I waited until it completely melted, then I dumped it.) This smelled cheap. It reminded me of the smell of cheap chocolate chapstick. It made me a bit ill.

- A barely noticeable perfume scent mixed with some apple notes.

• How the wax could be improved?/Was it missing something?
• I don't like whoever she purchases her scent oils from. She has great ideas. Good wax ideas and bad scent oil suppliers still makes for unpleasant wax.

• I personally did not see this as worth the money. There were too many scents I disliked.
• I prefer stronger scents than this vendor seems to have.
• I honestly feel the box she scent the wax in was worth the money.

• Probably not, this vendor's scents aren't as strong as I prefer my wax to be.
