Pre-Review/Post Order:
The vendor behind Mother Earth Creations has been making homemade products since a young age. The vendor stated she grew up doing it with her mother and gypsy grandmother. The vendor was farm raised, and originally started the company in the late 90s selling locally. People used to joke with the vendor calling her, ‘Mother Nature’, and decided to change her company’s name to Mother Earth Creations after polling local customers. Mother Earth Creations online business career only began a few months ago.
The vendor is inspired by nature, its beauty, and its abundance. Mother Earth Creations uses all natural items, the majority of which is grown and cultivated by the vendor. The vendor also uses fresh fruits, vegetables, minerals, plants, and other organic ingredients in all the products (minus the wax). The vendor believes this is what sets her company apart from others. Everything made by this vendor is from scratch, and not a recipe you can Google. The recipes the vendor uses is a family secret that has improved throughout the generations.
The vendor is a true believer in customer satisfaction and customer service. She uses criticism to improve.  She wants each and every customer to know that they are special to her. She wraps every item individually so that customers feel as if they are receiving a gift from friend or family member.

  • Wax Look:
    • First let us touch on packaging and how it fared throughout transport. The wax looked untouched by the heat of summer. The packaging was just wonderful. Every layer was colorful and festive.  I felt like I received a gift. This was a much needed feeling considering the bad day I had prior.

    • The actual wax is beautiful. Down to the little hello kitty thingy on top (don’t know if I can melt it, I didn’t examine it close enough). The colors were bright and beautiful. This vendor can truly decorate her wax. When it comes time to melt, I will be glad I have pictures to remember the beauty.

  • Cold Smell:
    • Jelly Donut/Lemon Crème - Jumbo Jewelry Star Tart
-         A hint of fruit, but barely noticeable over the strong bakery smell. The bakery smell is somewhat reminiscent of bread more so than a donut.

    • Lemon/Cotton Candy/Lollipop/Dreamsicle – Cupcake Jewelry Tart
-         Smells like fruity notes with a hint of perfume. Normally, I don’t like perfume but this wasn’t too bad.

Wax Melting Review:

  • Detailed Description of Each Smell
    • Jelly Donut/Lemon Crème – Jumbo Jewelry Tart
-         This scent smelled like a bakery bread. I felt like there was something else in the mix, but nothing as prominent as the bread smell.

    • Lemon/Cotton Candy/Lollipop/Dreamsicle – Cupcake Jewelry Tart
-         Couldn’t really smell much.

  • Comparison to Cold Smell
    • Jelly Donut/Lemon Crème – Jumbo Jewelry Tart
-         Very similar to cold smell.

    • Lemon/Cotton Candy/Lollipop/Dreamsicle – Cupcake Jewelry Tart
-         Not similar/not as strong.

  • Scent Throw:
    • Jelly Donut/Lemon Crème – Jumbo Jewelry Tart

Sum Up:
The sheer fact that this vendor gets rave reviews makes me feel as if I maybe had a bad first try. The vendor has a ton of products to offer, and personally maybe her wax just isn’t for me. I wouldn’t mind trying her wax again, perhaps offering a longer cure time just to be sure that wasn’t a factor.

  • Pros
    • A lot of products.
    • A lot of variations.
    • RTS and quick custom orders!

  • Cons
    • Some scents not very strong.

  • Overall Liked Scents

  • Overall Disliked Scents
    • Jelly Donut/Lemon Crème
    • Lemon/Cotton Candy/Lollipop/Dreamsicle

  • If it ends up in a destash, why?
    • All of them. They just weren’t for me.

  • How the wax could be improved?/Was it missing something?
    • The cold smell was sooo strong, I wish the warmed smell could match the strength.
    • I have noticed many of her combinations have multiple scents. When so many scents are involved in one tart, you often get strange combination smells. Perhaps simpler scents would complement her wax more.

  • Was it worth the money?
    • I will have to get back to you on that.

  •  Would I purchase from this vendor again?
    • This vendor has so much to offer. Just because I didn’t like items in my small first order, doesn’t mean I am not willing to give this vendor another shot. The vendor is very highly reviewed, and I may have just had some bad luck the first time.

Sum Up:
  • Overall Impression
    • The vendor’s scent combos can be hit or miss. I feel as if some of her personal creations can have way too many scents and don’t come across as well as they could. Luckily, you don’t have to go with one of her scent combinations. If you see one you like minus one scent, you can have that made. The vendor is versatile, and that is what is great! The cure time makes all the difference of scent throw. I gave her wax a month to cure on the original review, and it simply was not enough. This vendor most likely uses a high soy concentration, which often benefits from a longer cure time.  This vendor has a ton of things to offer. If the wax isn’t for you, try something else….you are bound to find something you will enjoy!

  • Pros
    • Variety of different products!

  • Cons
    • Long cure time.

  • Overall Liked Scents
    • Dreamsicle Waffle Cone
-         This scent was not very strong, but I liked what I was able to smell. Although 2 months cure time did this tart a lot of good, I will be setting it aside for another month to see if it gets any stronger.

    • Orange Danish Sherbet with Lemon Sugar Cookie
-         Cure time did this tart a lot of good, but it would most likely benefit from more cure time.

  • Overall Disliked Scents
    • N/A

  • If it ends up in a destash, why?
    • N/A

  • NOTE: I will be checking this wax in another month to see if it has gotten stronger.  If it has gotten stronger, I will adjust my review accordingly. This will include a new scent throw rating, the cure time that was required to obtain that scent throw rating, and the last reviewed date in the page title (so that you can tell if my review has changed). If no new findings have been discovered, this note will be deleted and the review will stay as is.
