Dessa’s Homespun Scents is owned and
operated by Dessa Bonner. Her wax adventure began 4 years ago. She was in
search for the perfect pumpkin scent in May of 2010 when she stumbled upon a
discussion board dedicated to candle making. She went through vigorous testing
and came up what she believes is a great realistic product. She has officially been in business since
September of 2014. The owner strives to provide a product that is easy to get
your hands on, reasonably priced, realistic, strong, and long lasting!

- Cold Smell:
- Banana Nut Bread - A beautiful bakery scent with strong banana notes and nutty notes to tie the scent together.
- Sweet Pumpkin- A wonderful sweet creamy pumpkin scent.
- Pumpkin Cinnamon Donuts- A pastry scent with pumpkin notes and subtle cinnamon notes.
- Oatmeal Cookies - A bakery scent with very clear distinguishable oatmeal like notes.
- Lemon Tart - A sweet lemon scent!
- Lemon Cheesecake - A sweet creamy lemon scent!
- Hot Apple Cobbler - A sweet spiced apple scent.
- Maple Cornbread Muffins - There are multiple notes in this scent but they are not distinguishable due to the strong maple scent.
- Holiday Eggnog- Probably the most realistic smelling eggnog I have ever smelled on cold sniff!
- Cinnamon Glazed Donuts - A delicious cinnamon sugar pastry scent.
- Orange Grove - A beautiful sweet orange scent!
- Blueberry Cobbler - A wonderful sweet blueberry scent with very subtle bakery notes.

- Detailed Description of Each Smell
- Banana Nut Bread - A heavenly bakery scent with distinguishable banana notes and subtle nutty notes that tie the entire scent together.
- Sweet Pumpkin - A delicious sweet and creamy pumpkin scent. This is probably the most realistic pumpkin pie like scent I have ever smelled!
- Pumpkin Cinnamon Donuts - A wonderful almost flaky bakery scent that has almost powdery notes of cinnamon sugar! The pumpkin that is detectable is a subtle subtle. This scent is soo yummy!
- Oatmeal Cookies - A strong scent that strongly resembles oatmeal.
- Lemon Tart - A wonderful sweet lemon scent!
- Lemon Cheesecake- A creamy lemon scent with subtle bakery notes. One of the more realistic cheesecake scents I have smelt. You can even detect this cheesecake’s graham cracker crust!!
- Hot Apple Cobbler - A sweet spiced apple scent with very subtle bakery notes.
- Maple Cornbread Muffins - A bakery scent with maple as the primary note.
- Holiday Eggnog - A realistic eggnog scent. A creamy eggnog scent with a subtle hint of spice.
- Cinnamon Glazed Donuts - A wonderful almost flaky bakery scent that has almost powdery notes of cinnamon sugar! This scent is soo yummy!
- Orange Grove - A wonderful sweet orange scent. Overall, very pleasant!
- Blueberry Cobbler - A wonderful sweet blueberry scent with very subtle bakery notes.

- For a new vendor, I am impressed! This vendor provides a quality product that will probably only improve with time! This vendor is on her way to earning a permanent wax drawer, and the spot will be guaranteed if she ever offers items in bulk.

- Hot Apple Cobbler
- I didn’t hate this scent, but it did not seem to fit with the others enough for me to absolutely love it. This scent almost seemed generic.
- Maple Cornbread Muffins
- I liked this scent regardless. I just felt as if the maple overpowered any aspect of the cornbread muffins.
- Oatmeal Cookies
- I feel as if someone were baking these oatmeal cookies I would recommend a dash a cinnamon.
