A Bit of Bliss Candles & More started their wax adventure in 2009 with wax testing and
experimenting. The vendor began their business venture after being let down by
an eBay wax purchase. Originally, the vendor used paraffin wax but was
disappointed with the throw of the wax. The vendor then went back to the
drawing board and settled on a parasoy blend that made everyone happy. The
vendor came up with the company name because of the feeling an individual gets
when walking into a house that smells great, pure bliss.

decadently creamy scent that does smell like a newly opened pint of Rocky Road
ice cream. The chocolate scent is the primary note and rightfully so. It smells
like freshly poured chocolate syrup. Very realistic!

pleasant fruity scent. Although well blended, the most distinguishable fruit
note is a pleasant yet subtle smelling cherry.

has a base like scent that resembles a cherry almond scent with a sharp bitter
undertone to resemble the alcoholic amaretto beverage.

A creamy peanut butter scent
(probably one of the more realistic peanut butter scents I have smelled)
blended perfectly with a creamy banana scent.

kind of reminds me of the fruit on the bottom yogurt. Not a bad scent.

A deliciously fruity scent. Unlike
other skittles scents, this one is probably my favorite from cold smell. This
one had a sweet cherry as the predominant note, but it didn’t overpower the
other fruity scents. I much prefer this scent as opposed to the others with
grape as the predominate note.

delicious creamy scent that truly resembles an open pint of Rocky Road Ice
Cream. So realistic you can smell the fresh chocolate syrup.

deliciously cream chocolate peanut butter scent. This is by far one of the best
Reese Cup scents I have ever smelled. Both the peanut butter and chocolate are
perfect!

delightful light fruity scent.

A creamy
scent with a subtle bitterness to represent the alcoholic drink it is made
after. The scent somewhat reminds me of a cream cheese frosting scent which
makes me think this scent would make an excellent blender. Although it has bitter notes that resemble alcohol like the
amaretto cream that I strongly disliked, it wasn’t as blindingly overpowering
and was balanced with sweetness. This scent reminds me of a cream cheese
frosting scent.

spiced pumpkin scent. This scent reminds me of a pumpkin chai.

banana undertones.

scent. Unfortunately the creaminess of this scent takes a back seat to the
bitterness.

with cinnamon sugar undertones.

A creamy peanut butter scent that
blends beautifully with a subtle banana scent. It passed the fiancé test. I
mean not only could he smell it (he can’t smell anything), but he enjoyed it.

A realistic creamy peanut butter
scent. Seriously, it smells like I just opened a jar of peanut butter!

Fruit on the bottom yogurt was a
perfect cold smell comparison for this scent. I felt like I just opened a fresh
creamy yogurt with cherries on the bottom. YUM!

A sweet fruity sweet with some
subtle floral/perfume undertones. Although it doesn’t remind me of skittles per
say, it is overall a pleasant scent.

- Overall Impression
- This vendor was a pleasure doing business with. She had a huge scent selection and at the time of the order she had a great sale going on and it was super difficult not to order a ridiculous amount of wax!
- She strives to improve and provide customers with the best possible product! Seriously, what more can you ask for from a vendor?
- Are you a novice scent blender? This vendor’s huge collection of house blends is likely to have something you would enjoy.

Not a very strong scent and I prefer
my banana scents bold!

I didn’t
like the scent because of the medicinal cherry aspect. My mother did
acknowledge that aspect of the smell. My mother is very hard to please when it
comes to scents and she liked the smell despite the slight medicinal aspect to
the cherry. Goes to show that everyone has different tastes.

I prefer a sweet blueberry as
opposed to a tart blueberry.

I disliked this scent almost
immediately on placing it within the warmer. I couldn’t even leave it in the
warmer long enough to get a throw rating. Don’t get me wrong, it was extremely
realistic. Perhaps it was too realistic.

I
couldn’t bring myself to put such a pleasant scent under my dislike column.
Unfortunately the throw left a lot to be desired. I decided to give this scent
to my fiancé. He has a warmer that seems to throw the most stubborn scents and
I honestly thought this smelled too good not to give another try!
- How the wax could be improved?/Was it missing something?
- All these suggestions have been brought to the vendor’s attention prior to the posting of the review. This allows vendors to improve their products for future customers!

After
talking with the vendor we believe the lime scent may be the culprit for some
of the almost perfume like notes in the scent. This is common in a lot of lime
scents. The vendor said she was not a huge fan of the scent overall. Perhaps
tweaking of this aspect of the scent could produce a scent every Skittle’s
Lover is happy with.

I do
believe there is a marshmallow aspect to this scent. I believe this scent is
really freaking awesome, but the throw leaves something to be desired. I often
find that marshmallow is the culprit for this. Perhaps a tiny bit less
marshmallow fragrance oil wouldn’t dramatically change the scent but instead
increase the throw.
- Was it worth the money?
- Yes
- Would I purchase from this vendor again?
- This vendor has too many scents just to order once. If you run out of individual scents to try, the vendor carries just as many unique blends! My favorite blends from this vendor were the Walking Dead and the peanut butter blends. I hope to order more of those particular scent blends in the future.
