Ten Digit Creations is
a husband and wife team that has been in business for eight years born because
of the vendor’s obsession with fragrance. Smells are proven to invoke memories
of the past and present. Everyone has certain smells they love. They initially started
with wax melts, candles, and jewelry. A year after the business began they
decided to drop the jewelry and focus on home fragrance and expanding their
line of bath and body products. The company name stems from the fact that all
of their products are made with their own hands. Their lightning fast turnaround
time seems to set this company apart from the rest. They keep their products in
stock so that TAT stays around 1 to 2 business days. The vendor recently started a Ten Digit Creations
review group. I commend the vendor on this
action. They carry over 300 scents. This group was created to receive feedback
on scents that may not be ordered as frequently and in general provide others
with scent reviews because they have such a large selection! This Facebook Group can be found at www.Facebook.com/groups/tendigitcreations

- Availability: I have not seen the store close. They work 7 days a week to keep items in stock and ready to ship.
- Turn Around Time (TAT): All products are in stock and ready to ship. The TAT is listed on their website and runs around 1-2 days. They try to do same day shipping whenever possible.
- Price:
$$
- Cure Time: Because the wax melts are poured and in stock, no cure time is necessary. During the holiday season and sales they do pour items fresh and state a short cure time wouldn’t hurt if the product scent seems to be on the lighter side.
- Warmer Recommended: Customers report that most warmers work well with this vendors wax. The vendor personally prefers a hotplate style warmer over the bulb electric warmers. The vendor does assure customers that their wax performs well in Scentsy Warmers.

Sum Up:
- Overall Impression
- I can totally see why this vendor is so popular. They are always open and offer a variety of decent products in a variety of scents.
- I will admit, after trying their wax I am curious in purchasing more of their products. Although some of the wax intensity was not where I would have wanted, they had some very good scents. I was a big fan of the cold smell on some of these fruit scents. Cold smells are generally a good reflection of what a product may smell like in bath and body products.
- They did well with scents I have liked from other vendors. This is super important because it means I already like the scent but it is up to the vendor to do the scent justice with their wax. Chocolate Orchid and Lemon Sugar Bundt cake were two scents that I absolutely love from other vendors and this vendor did these scents justice. They were probably the strongest and the longest lasting scents out of all the ones I tried from this vendor. In fact, I want more of these particular scents from this vendor as opposed to other vendors I may have tried that have the same scents!!!
- Pros
- Huge Scent Selection!
- Soft easy to cut wax.
- Popular scents done well!
- Cons
- Due to the softness of wax, may not travel well in summer!
- Inconsistent duration of throw. Some of the sugared scents did not last very long, while the Chocolate Orchid seemed to last longer than average (it lasted around 10 hours and continued to throw well even when reheated!)
- Majority of the scents did not have impressive throw.
- Overall Liked Scents
- Sugared Oranges
- Sugared Peaches
- Peach Bellini
- Holiday Eggnog
- Lemon Sugar Bundt Cake
- Pumpkin Vanilla
- Lemon Cream
- Smarty Pants
- Chocolate Orchid
- Overall Disliked Scents
- Toasted Almond Butter Cookie
-
Just was
not intense enough for me.
- Cookie Monster
-
Just was
not intense enough for me.
- Pumpkin Cheesecake
-
The scent
was pleasant, but the throw was just not there.
- Rice Crispes Treat
-
No
scent!!
- Vanilla Supreme
-
Not
strong enough!
- Lemon Marshmallow
-
I didn’t
like the play-dough-like scent that seemed to be coming through.
- Lemon Slices
-
A little
too clean for me.
- Cherry Marshmallow
-
This
scent wasn’t intense enough for me and honestly was not that exciting.
- Sugared Pears
-
Just wasn’t
strong enough for me.
- Sugared Apples
-
I felt as
if this scent was nothing special as it strongly resembled many mac apple
scents.
- If it ends up in a destash, why?
- N/A All wax was used for the review.
- How the wax could be improved?/Was it missing something?
- The wax throw is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. Perhaps a wax reformulation is in this vendor’s future.
- I would not offer scents such as Rice Crispes Treats as anything other than a blender.
- Was it worth the money?
- Yes
- Would I purchase from this vendor again?
- Yes.
- I really do love some of these scents. I am curious to see how the same scents I love turn out in some of their bath and body products!
- I hope to be able to order some Chocolate Orchid and Lemon Sugar Bundt cake in large quantities in the near future.
