Healing Scents Boutique is
owned by Desiree. Desiree is a mother of two, ages 8 and 21. Her youngest is
Autistic and keeps her busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. She
describes her oldest as her rock. He just returned from Korea and returns to college
in a year! When she is not with her children or making wax, she enjoys
listening to music, watching movies, reading, crafts, and gardening. As far as
wax is concerned, Desiree has been in the wax world for a long time. At the
young age of eight, Desiree was carving candles with her mother. Desiree opened
her company in 2016 but took a hiatus during the pandemic. Desiree not only
loves what she does, but she enjoys putting smiles on people’s faces. When
Desiree first started, she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. She began making
CBD products. Even during her hiatus, she offered CBD products to help people
find pain relief. Desiree loves that her products help people through pain
relief, assistance with anxiety and/or depression, or simply because they enjoy
the smell. Healing Scents Boutique is continuing to grow. Due to the growing
nature of the company, the website will continue to improve with more products
to come. Desiree also plans to add more scents and descriptions as she tests
different fragrance oils. Desiree recommends joining the Facebook Group
for up-to-date information on product releases, auctions, and flash sales!

o There seem to be some
ready-to-ship scents always available on the website.
o Customs seem to be open
regularly on the site.
· Turn
Around Time (TAT):
o The TAT is 1 to 3 days on
Custom Orders.
o RTS orders ship the next day.
o During the summer, the vendor
does not ship on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Time:
o The vendor recommends a two-week
cure time for 100% Soy Wax.
o The vendor also states that if
you can wait longer, the scent will continue to get stronger.
o The vendor marks the wax with
a cure date. If the wax does not have a date on it, then the wax is already
cured.
· Warmer
Recommended:
o The vendor suggests a hot
plate warmer or a 25-watt light bulb warmer.
o The vendor reports a nice
throw from the smaller warmers that are plugged in on the wall for smaller
places but prefers a 25-watt bulb warmer or a hot plate warmer for larger
spaces.

Look:
o Very beautiful colors and
decorations.
o The wax in hard containers
traveled well in the summer heat.
o The wax in bags did not fare
as well during heated summer travel, but the wax was still usable with
distinguishable shapes when removed from the bag (essentially there was some
wax rub off on the inside of the bags due to the heat during travel).
o I will never, ever, blame a
vendor for wax melting during summer. Even if they ship on a Monday to avoid
the non-movement of Sunday, you better believe there will end up being a delay.

Sum Up:
· Overall
Impression
o Occasionally, I strike up a
conversation with a vendor. This is one of those vendors. She was super excited
to talk about her business and things that are upcoming! She was super excited
about Halloween and all the goodies she planned to produce for one of her
favorite holidays. We didn’t just talk about wax, but other nerdy things we
enjoyed! This vendor is genuinely a good soul. Also, I knew right away that her
wax was going to be amazing when one of the samples I melted was by far the
strongest throw I had ever melted! This wax could easily become one of my
favorites. The throw is deceptively strong. If you want a good wax that will
have an entire multi-level home smelling wonderful without being overpowering,
this is the vendor for you.

love (free wax), I have to say I was happy that I had wax samples that were
ready to melt while I waited for my order to cure!

did not hold up during hot summer transport as products within structured
containers (Again, I don’t hold vendors responsible for this nor would I want
this vendor to reformulate to fix this problem because her wax is amazing as
is! If anything, I would tend to lean towards order things such as clamshells
in the summer and shapes in colder months.)

I ordered regular root beer float from this vendor in a clammy which I think I
will enjoy more, and I am trying not to hoard wax.

the wax could be improved? /Was it missing something?
o So originally,
I was going to suggest scent descriptions on the website. The vendor had a psychic
moment and did this before the review was completed.
· Was it
worth the money?
o Absolutely!
I already did by the time this review was posted! Stay tuned for the follow-up

I purchase from this vendor again?
o Although
I do not review the free samples received (I do not review free wax out of
principle), I knew I would order again because I loved one of the samples!
