· Wax Look:

o I never fault a vendor if their wax has some melting during transport in the summer, but I will say I was surprised with the lack of melting from this vendor’s wax.

o This wax is so adorable and cute. It looks as if the vendor has fun making these melts!

· Cold Smell:

o Dangerous but Fun – Cherry is the first distinguishable note to hit the nose with the other scents combining to resemble a delicious Hawaiian Punch-type scent.

o Siren’s Song – The citrus notes of the Avobath meld together with the sweet florals of the Pink Sugar. The entire scent has a subtle effervescence to it from the cream soda.

o Cherry Ice Cream Float – Although there are no bakery notes within this scent, the combination creates a light indistinguishable bakery smell and cherries.

Sum Up:

· Overall Impression

o Super cute and fun wax with very fun blends!

o Because she essentially included as much free wax as paid wax, I did feel as if I had to mark the price as more affordable than had she sent fewer samples or none.

o

· Pros

o The wax brittle was soft enough to break with my hand, but not so soft that it had any melting during ridiculously hot summer temperatures (seriously, this defies science).

o The free samples make the wax more affordable. The vendor reports that she tends to put in more free samples on initial orders. This is not a bad idea for business as it allows the customers to try other scents that they may like for future orders.

o The vendor reports not making much of a profit due to production costs and wanting to keep prices affordable to the consumer. Considering the cost of production and the effort the vendor puts into her product creations, she may be undercharging for her products.

o Subscription boxes allow individuals to try different blends when unsure of what to order or when they are just wanting to branch out and extend into scents they may not normally try.

· Cons

o If it had not been for the free samples, the wax would have been a little bit costly for the amount received. The vendor reports that the price of her products is based on the costs of production. While this is more than fair, I think that the effort she puts into her wax is worth the price. The wax does show how much effort the vendor puts into wax creation, so the price is understandable even if the products may not be in everyone’s price range.

o I personally prefer a stronger scent throw.

· Overall Liked Scents

o Dangerous but Fun

o Cherry Ice Cream Float

· Overall Disliked Scents

o Siren’s Song

· If it ends up in a destash, why?

o Siren’s Song – I am on the fence about destashing this one. I like the cold smell and hope that with time it may get stronger. Most likely the combination of scents was individually too light to create a big punch! I will probably keep this one temporarily to see if a little added cure time increases the throw.

· How the wax could be improved? /Was it missing something?

o To make her max more affordable to those who want to try her wax and blends, I would recommend sample packs or wax that does not require the vendor to put so much effort into the creation (essentially colorless, plain wax).

o The wax is beautiful, but I feel the strength of the wax scent throw upon warming could be improved. This could be dependent on the actual scent, and not the wax formulation. I plan to place an order in the future for review in order to test this possibility.

· Was it worth the money?

o Yes

· Would I purchase from this vendor again?

o Yes, simply because she has a lot of scent combinations that I am curious about. I am hoping that the scent throw is dependent on the actual scent. So, I do feel as if I will order again in order to test that theory for review purposes.
